You will know who's serious about eradicating Jim Crow style corruption and misconduct, who's just giving lip service, and who's in favor of maintaining Jim Crow Justice in Memphis, Tennessee.

SHELBY COUNTY DAG AMY WEIRICH’s RESPONSE TO STOLEN EVIDENCE RESURFACING AFTER 15 YEARS:
Upon being informed that stolen evidence resurfaced after 15 years, head DA Amy Weirich did not say this is a miscarriage of justice, did not say this is appalling, did not say this is a travesty, or how could this happen. When WMC Action News 5 reached out to Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich for comment about this case and the missing character reference letters. Her office forwarded this statement: “There is an established legal procedure for appealing a conviction that does not include first holding a press conference and hoping the media will carry the ball for you…”

Her response suggests she was not at all shocked or surprised that evidence was stolen from Vern's official trial court record. Interestingly, in her response she attacked Vern, the victim in this situation, and she cryptically fired a shot at the media.
